WBEZ's 10th Annual Chicago Chef Battle

WBEZ’s Chicago Chef Battle returns to celebrate our 10^th anniversary by gathering ten of Chicago’s best chefs – ranging in cuisine, experience and location – to compete for public radio glory. This year’s theme “10 Years. 10 Chefs. 10 Stories.” features more chefs, more flavors and, true to public radio form, a more in depth look into the lives and stories of each of the competing chefs.

Through multiple platforms – web, social, video and print – WBEZ will showcase the chef’s talents and help share their stories, reflections and inspirations with you!

At the Chef Battle, you are the judge! As a guest, you will sample each Chef's two plates and vote for your favorite. At the end of the evening, votes will be tallied, and one chef will win this round of our Chef Battle!

You’ll have the opportunity to engage with the chefs in our “Meet the Chef” room! Our WBEZ journalists are hard at work creating video stories of the chefs, which will play on the big screen in this area. The Chefs will be taking breaks throughout the evening so you have a chance to hear their stories first hand. 

Pairing amazing food and beverages with a special inside look into the World of Culinary Arts, WBEZ’s Chef Battle is an exciting event for foodies and the food enthused community!
