ABOUT OLIVIA NIED

Olivia Nied is a twenty-seven year-old American singer/songwriter, arranger, producer and multi-instrumental performer and session musician. Trained at Goldsmiths London University, the Berklee College of Music five week summer jazz program, and the Vermont Jazz Center, Olivia toured in the US, performed at music festivals in the UK and played clubs in London, Paris, and Amsterdam. Olivia has also composed for modern dance, recorded solo and with various bands and ensembles, incorporating rock, folk, punk-pop, and jazz influences.

Olivia's recent 2024 solo album “Just Enough” is a collection of original songs that cross genres blending elements of folk, rock and roll, pop-punk and R&B and lyrically drawing from her lived experience as an AuDHD (autistic/ADHD) transgender young person pursuing radical joy against all odds. Olivia sang lead and harmony vocals and played and arranged all guitar, bass, piano, synthesizer, violin and percussion parts on the record as well. Songs from “Just Enough” have been included on emerging LGBTQIA+ artists playlists in the UK and the Netherlands.

As an emerging artist, Olivia's skilled musicianship has gained the attention of many, including opening for the iconic singer/songwriter Loudon Wainwright III at The Iron Horse in Northampton MA in April, as well as fulfilling percussion and bass roles in local punk bands "SexWave" and "Sunshine and The Rainbows" respectively.

ABOUT BRIAN DICKENS

Brian Dickens is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Turners Falls, MA. He has been performing his own songs on stages around New England and beyond since 2004. In 2012, he released his first full length solo acoustic album, followed by a number of EPs. In 2016, he released "...And The Plot Dickens", his first full-band produced album. In 2018, he released "Posterity Measures", another full-band album, a 30 minute collection of mostly punk rock oriented songs. As of 2025, he continues to write more music, anticipating producing another album in the future.Brian Dickens writes songs about a lot of subjects but they are nearly all autobiographical and nonfictional. While singing lyrics spanning the serious and the silly, he plays corresponding acoustic guitar in a groovy, rhythmic style, drawing inspiration from folk, rock, blues and punk music.
