Terms and Conditions

1. Contract

1.1 A legally binding contract will come into existence when we accept your order.

1.2 Acceptance of an order placed by you is subject to the condition that tickets are available for the event selected by you.

1.3 We will notify you by email if we accept your order. Acceptance will be deemed to have been effectively communicated to you when we send the email (whether or not you receive such communication).

1.4 No order will be accepted until we have received full payment for the cost of the tickets plus booking charges and where applicable postage and VAT.

1.5 Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned.

1.6 If an event is cancelled we will make notification by posting on the relevant events website.

1.7 Participant is responsible for Participating in the Event in a timely manner and observing any reserved times and time limits provided to Participant by Management. In the event Participant fails to Participate in any part of the Event at a specified time provided by Management and Participant is subsequently unable to Participate in any part of the Event, Management shall have no obligation to provide a full or partial refund for any fees paid in connection with the Event. If an event is moved to another date we will make notification by posting on the relevant events website.

1.8 The Event is neither directed at nor intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. Management does not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under the age of 13, and if Management becomes aware that it has inadvertently done so, Management will promptly delete such Personal Information. If you are under the age of 13, do not access or Participate in the Event unless under the supervision of, and with the express consent of these terms of service by, a parent or legal guardian.

1.9 Individuals under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of a parent or legal guardian before sending any information to Management, entering any sweepstakes or contests in connection with the Event, posting any information on the Event website or related websites, or purchasing any goods online related to the Event. The submission of information to the Event or the purchase and/or use of a License to the Event is a representation and confirmation that you are age 18 or over or have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you are the parent or legal guardian of an Event attendee that is under the age of 18, it is your responsibility to check the suitability of the Event for any individuals in your party regardless of official age restrictions.

2. Price and Dispatch

2.1 Tickets will be dispatched to the email address given when the order is placed.

2.2 Customers are advised to check their purchase upon receipt and inform us of any errors as soon as possible.

2.3 It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us of any change of address, contact number or email address, both before and after the receipt of goods.

2.4 No duplicate tickets will be issued to replace lost or stolen tickets unless suitable reason is given and accepted by the MCM Expo Group who have full and final decision.

2.5 If a customer orders more tickets than the maximum allowed as indicated during the booking process, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

2.6 We will not be responsible for failure of any delivery services employed to deliver on time.

3. Performances

3.1 The right to refuse admission to an event is reserved by the MCM Expo Group at all times and at their reasonable discretion. The Event and Management reserve the right to deny entry, ban, or remove from the Event or any part of the Event any person who Management determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which Management considers to be disruptive of the Event. If you are refused admission before the Event you will be notified in writing and fully refunded.

3.2 We would advise customers that no refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from a venue on account of late arrival, being or appearing to be under age, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings. All video recordings of online events are strictly prohibited.

3.3 All guest appearances are subject to work and personal commitments. *Certain areas of the events may be age restricted and you are purchasing the tickets based on this knowledge and it is accepted that you have read these terms and conditions of sale. Please ensure that you read all the information that applies to any restrictive area of the event and that you have proof of age if appropriate.

3.4 Each Participant to the Event assumes all risk incidental to participation in all activities, loss or damage to property in connection with the Event. Access to the Event may require access to the Internet and the use of Participant’s personal devices. Participant acknowledges that Participant is solely responsible for obtaining their own devices, any Internet connection or mobile fees, or any other incidentals or expenses needed to access the Event, and Participant is responsible for Participant’s own use of such Internet connection and/or personal devices and for ensuring that such Internet connection and/or personal devices are compatible with any requirements that Management specifies to Participant or makes available on the Event website. Management will not be responsible or liable for any costs associated with Participant’s access to the Event.

3.5 All panels, autographing, photo ops, performances, Event features and special events are subject to availability and access is not guaranteed. Certain Event features or special events may require an additional fee and/or will only be available to designated types of Participants and/or License holders. To the extent a feature of the Event occurs only at a specific time and for a specific set of participants, each Participant will only be permitted access during the specific times as relayed to Participant by Management. Management reserves all rights to remove any unauthorized participants from any Event feature or any part of the Event.

3.6. Management is not responsible for delays and/or wait times in connection with any Event features or the Event. Management may reasonably change the time of an Event feature in order to accommodate unexpected events, other Event features being delayed, or ending earlier than expected or later than expected.

4. Liability

4.1 In all arrangements involving third parties we act only as your agent and no liability of any kind whatsoever shall be attached to us in connection with or arising from such an arrangement with a third party.

4.2 We do not accept any liability for any losses or claims arising from any inability to access our website or any failure to complete a booking on the website.

4.3 We do not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss of any kind in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of the use of the website or the purchase of the tickets or other goods or services from us by whatever means.

4.4 Whilst every care is taken to ensure tickets or other goods or services ordered by you arrive on time at the agreed destination, we do not accept liability for loss or damage that is caused by any event or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

4.5 To the fullest extent permitted by law we will not be responsible for loss, damage or injury to any person or their property howsoever caused.

4.6 Participant hereby releases Management from any and all claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, relating to any of the following:

(i) human or technical problems, failures, or malfunctions of any kind, whether originating with Management, Event participants, or otherwise, that may prevent or limit Participant’s Participating in the Event hereunder;

(ii) any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, hacks, unauthorized access, delayed computer transmissions or network connections in connection with the Event or any part thereof;

(iii) any problems or technical malfunction of any network or lines, servers or providers, equipment or software, including any injury or damage to Participant or Participant’s property resulting from participation in the Event or any part thereof; or

(iv) the actions or inactions of any Event participants, including, but not limited to violations of and noncompliance with any terms and conditions related to the Event; fraud or deception in participating in the Event; or failure to conduct themselves in accordance with generally accepted decorum.

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 When ordering tickets online, the website will not prevent you from buying tickets for two different events at the same time. If this happens we will not refund in any circumstances even if any other clauses apply.

5.2 Tickets which are resold or transferred for any reason by anyone other than the MCM Expo Group or an authorised agent will become voidable and the holder will be refused entry.

5.3 No tickets need to be purchased for children under two years of age.

6. Privacy

6.1 By entering and using our website, you consent to the collection, use and retention of your personal information.

(i) Information about you including your name, address, telephone number, email address is held by us, credit/debit card details are not held by us. The information is needed to process the transaction and fulfil your order and any subsequent problems or disputes.

(ii) We may also use the information for internal administration and analysis by us and our associated companies.

(iii) We disclose your information (but not credit/debit card details) to third parties on occasion but only for the purpose of completing your transaction with us.

(iv) We may disclose your information for the purpose of associated administration and obtaining professional advice and your information may also be passed to the management of the venue where the event is taking place at their request.

(v) We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Use of our Website

7.1 We reserve the right to update or otherwise change the terms and conditions or amend the website at any time and without notice to you.

7.2 We will not accept any liability for tickets or other goods and services which have been ordered through our website or bought at the event using your credit/debit card by someone not authorised to do so.

7.3 Our website uses industry standard encryption software and a secure server to ensure the safety of orders placed on our website. No one can access any information sent by you as long as it is sent using the secure pages. Therefore you must only send your credit/debit card details where asked for on our website and you must not send credit/debit card details by standard email.

8. Invalidity

8.1 If any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

9. No Waiver

9.1 No failure or delay on the part of any parties to these conditions relating to the exercise of any right, power, privilege or remedy provided under these conditions shall operate as a waiver of such right, power or remedy.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms and Conditions and our agreement with you under them shall be governed by English Law and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts for the determination of any dispute between us.
