.The game continues the traditional gameplay of the Mario Kart series, in which characters from the Mario universe race against each other in go-karts, attempting to hinder their opponents or improve their racing performance using various tools found in item boxes. In addition, the game includes four different difficulties, which can be selected before beginning the race to challenge players. Returning features from previous installments include motorbikes and twelve-player racing from Mario Kart Wii, as well as hang gliders, underwater racing and vehicle customization from Mario Kart 7.
48 courses, 42 characters, 3 speed classes all come together this year at Replayfx with 12 switches in LAN mode to crown the best racer!
Rules:
1.) All races will be in the 150cc class.
2.)Smart steering, and auto accelerate must be off. Failure to do so will result in a disqualification.
3.) Courses will be players choice ( voted on by the 12 participants)
4.)Tournament will be played in 2 phases
qualifying and finals.
5.) The top 3 point totals from the end of each grand prix will be automatically entered into the finals for each day.
6.) All faults or glitches must be played out. Rulings on the faults will be up to the Tournament Director/ Staff.
7.) Finals will be a 12 player Gran Prix in a winner take all 4 race format.
8.) 48 max players per day/ per competition. With Sunday being 36 max players.
