Enjoying the Outdoors in the Age of Ticks and Lyme Disease

Dr. Aucott will discuss the current outlook for ticks and tick-borne diseases in Maryland. The risk of Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases will be discussed. Ways to prevent tick bites will be highlighted as well as how to enjoy the out-of-doors safely. Dr. Aucott is an international authority on Lyme disease and the current Chair of the US Department of Health and Human Services Tick-Borne Diseases Working Group.
