YOUMACON TURNS 21!
Youmacon is Detroit's celebration of Japanese animation, video games, popular culture and costuming, and its influence on our own culture over the past few decades.
Youmacon is a unique all-ages mix, filled with loads of interactive games, Live competitions, celebrity guest panels, live musical performances, and home of the original Maid Café.
Now celebrating its 21th year, highlights include a large video game and table-top gaming rooms, a Formal Cosplay Ball, bands and DJs and a massive 150,000 sq. foot Marketplace for shopping Anime merchandise, artwork, figures and other collectibles.
Throughout it's 21 years, Youmacon has brought in more than 250,000 attendees from all around the world to visit Detroit.
