How do we confront the things that scare us the most when our memories begin to fail us? You Can Call Me Al is a long-form story about growing up, getting gay, coming out, living with mental illness, and uncovering family secrets. By letting go of shame, they reveal what it means to be fully queer and fully vulnerable.
CSA EDU:
Over the past 3 seasons, the CSA Student Matinée program has hosted 9 schools with over 900 students and educators. You can help expand that reach and inspire the next generation of Pittsburgh artists by donating to the CSA Student Sponsorship Program. Each sponsorship you add to your subscription guarantees five local area high school students a seat at one of the student matinées.
If your school is interested in participating in our CSA program please contact Bill Rodgers at CSAedu@newhazletttheater.org.
