Jasmine Burton is a barred attorney from Los Angeles living and working in DC. Jasmine has performed stand up all throughout the DMV – including Room 808, Hotbed, DC Comedy Loft, The Port, and DC Improv – as well as opening and hosting shows for Matt Rife, Lil Rel, Zainab Johnson, Tony Woods, Aida Rodriguez, Earthquake, Stavros Halkias and other comics seen on Netflix, HBO, and Comedy Central. A blend of west coast and east coast swagger, Jasmine is best known for her high energy, punchlines, and hilarious infusion of the law and her life experience into her comedy. Jasmine brings an edgy, witty, and intellectual humor that keeps her audiences at the edge of their seat… or falling out of them.
Born in Washington DC Benny is half Nigerian half Ethiopian but grew up overseas in Geneva, Switzerland. He has performed in NYC (Broadway comedy club, Stand NY, Greenwich and other), DC (DC Improv, Comedy Loft, HotBed, Drafthouse and others) as well as internationally in Switzerland, Mexico and Canada (Zoo Fest, Just for Laughs). He has worked with acts such as Matt Rife, Deray Davis, Nate Jackson, Zainab Johnson, Josh Johnson, Ian Lara, Tony Woods as well as others. Most recently took home 2nd place in the 2023 Seattle international Comedy Competition. He was named runner up in the Magoobys 2022 Comedian of the year competition and was named Winner of the DC Improv’s Comedy Kumite competition.

With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians.
What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space.
Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.
About The Belly Room
Hidden on our second floor, the Belly Room has been a testing ground for the best developing comedians over the last four decades. Not only have great comedy voices been discovered in this room but some of your favorite shows and podcasts got their start on this tiny but powerful stage. Built by Yakov Smirnoff and his father, the Belly Room is many comics' first home while they work their way up at The Store.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.
