XANADU the Musical

XANADU recounts the tale of a beautiful Greek muse who descends from the heavens to inspire a struggling chalk artist to follow his dreams. Together they work to build their "apex of the arts" -- a ROLLER DISCO! This very funny show rocks with all the musical hits of the 1980 film of the same name. And roller skates. Come laugh; come be inspired!  (PG)  Performed outdoors in the beautiful Greek Theatre.

PERFORMANCES:  ALL shows at 8:30 pm, May 29, 30, and June 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13. Xanadu runs for 90 minutes and has no intermission.

GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS:  $20 regular; $18 seniors 62 & over; $18 students 18 & under. (plus fee)

PREMIUM GRASS CIRCLE SEATING:  $28 (plus fee). Limited to 20 seats per performance. No discounts. Cushioned chairs placed on the cement at the edge of the grassy area in front of the stage. These tickets are a fundraiser for improvements to the theater.

General Admission and Premium tickets may also be purchased at the counter in the Playhouse lobby starting at 7 pm performance nights. (There are no other box office hours.)

LOCATION:  The Greek Theatre is located behind St. Dunstan's Playhouse at 400 Lone Pine Rd, between Woodward & Lahser, in Bloomfield Hills. Enter through the Playhouse lobby.

FREE PARKING:  In the boulevard across from the Playhouse; and in the Cranbrook House and Christ Church parking lots 1 block east of the Playhouse on Lone Pine Road. Look for parking signs. Please allow time for walking.

PLEASE NOTE:  We regret that the Greek Theatre is NOT handicapped accessible.
