x-Speakers | TEDxPittsburgh at RE:new Fest

Ideas are one thing. Action is another. Since 2013, TEDxPittsburgh speakers have been sharing ideas and doing work across the region. Check in and hear how former speakers have continued or evolved their work. 

Former speakers will be arranged to fit RE:new fest themes: Transformation, Sustainability, and Creative Reuse.

The lineup is full of ideas worth spreading.

This event is part of RE:new fest, a month-long celebration of creative reuse, transformation, and sustainability in Pittsburgh.

Join us for SIX x ATE: Revive at the US Steel Tower. This special event is a collaboration with 412 Food Rescue for the Re:NEW Festival.

 During SIX x ATE: Revive you will be treated to a great meal from 412 Food Rescue, which aims to fight hunger by collecting fresh, healthy food that would otherwise be discarded and directly distributing to community organizations that serve those in need. You'll also see incredible presentations and performances by six artists working with ideas of sustainability and reuse. These artists will present or perform for 5 minutes on their work as it connects to the theme of reuse and sustainability.  Artists include Nisha Blackwell, Sean Derry, Elizabeth (Betty) Asche Douglas, Joshua Kosker , Leah Patgorski andLinda Wallen.
