WSET Level 2 in Spirits Award (Updated Curriculum!)
Class Dates: Starts July 21st, 2025. Final class and exam is August 25th, 2025

This multi-week course takes place weekly on Mondays from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. On the Last day of the course you will take your exam.
This is a robust course great for collectors, hobbyists and industry professional alike.
The WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits is intended to provide a comprehensive level of focused product knowledge required to underpin job skills and competencies -- for example, in bar service, and for staff requiring focusd product knowledge in retail and wholesaling businesses
Successful candidates will be able to give information on the characteristics of the principal spirits and aromatized wines as well as their methods of production. They will confidently Provide guidance on the use and service of spirits and make informed recommendations to customers when selecting spirits and liqueurs to meet their taste and price requirements.

This qualifications is intended for beginner to intermediate students exploring spirits and liqueurs for those working in the industry or spirits enthusiasts
The materials follow the same overall structure but they have been completely re-designed and a number of important updates have been made. The study pack will continue to be made up of a textbook, workbook and SAT card.
For individuals wishing to develop their expertise in spirits and liqueurs, you'll learn about the fundamental production methods and principal raw materials discovering how they are used to make the key spirit styles. You'll also explore the keypractices and principles of serving spirits and the use of spirits in cocktails. Upon successful completion you will recieve a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.
