This entry-level, internationally recognized course is perfect for those who want to learn more about one of the world’s most up-and-coming beverages - sake!This course provides information on sake production, different sake styles, service and more. This comprehensive course is a great starting point for most novice consumers and industry employees. This class is recommended if you prepare to take Sake Level 3, though not required.
More About WSET Level 1 in Sake
This two-day course takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Your exam will take place at the end of class on Sunday.
A beginner level introduction to sake for those starting a career in the industry or pursuing an interest in sake. For individuals new to the subject, this qualification offers a hands-on introduction to the world of sake. You’ll explore the main styles and types of sake as well as learn history and production basics.

***If you have not been able to get a covid-19 vaccine, or are within two weeks of your last shot, we do require that you bring a mask with you to wear during all times in the building when we are not actively tasting.
