The Western PA Triumph Club orchestrates the British Car Day Concours at PVGP every year, but we are also a very active driving club! We decided that in light of not being able to have a car show this summer that we would support PVGP and their charities with a back roads tour in the style of the PVGP Countryside Tour on October 24.

Club members Bud Osbourne and Gary Fredo have a great day planned that will take you over some wonderfully curvy, plunging, Washington County back roads and deliver you to a great country restaurant and tavern so that you can shake the thirst and appetite you have built up while on the road. If you cannot attend, we have an ’in-spirit-donation' option to the right, and we’ll send you a small token of appreciation.

Participants are to arrive at the lot across from the Shop n Save parking lot just off the Imperial/Oakdale exit of Rt 22/30 (600 Market Place Drive, Oakdale Pa 15071). The route will cover about 80 curvy miles on scenic back roads, with only short pieces being on main roads.

Through the twists and turns of Route 50 in Western PA you’ll find a special place that will surely become one of your favorite hangouts. The Bull Pen Rustic Inn provides all of the elements that make a perfect ride destination. For starters, the location is off the beaten path in Avella, a small town near Cross Creek Lake with a history that includes some of North America's earliest inhabitants.

We will space out small touring groups out depending on attendance, and you can decide to have lunch and/or a drink at the end at the Bull Pen Rustic Inn (301 Country Park Rd, Avella PA 15312) or go on about the rest of your Saturday. If you prefer to picnic with your own food or take-out, Cross Creek Park is nearby. Hope to see you there!

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, presented by the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Foundation, is the nation’s only vintage street race and the largest vintage race event, spanning 10 days with two race weekends, car shows, parties, parades and motorsport events. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association raises funds for autistic and IDD charities, donating $ 5.8 million since our founding in 1983.
