Event Description
Arcade Comedy Theater is excited to present this Improv Master Class from two award-winning masterful teachers and performers, Blue Cavell-Allette and Tashika Campbell. This intensive workshop is open to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) students with at least basic improv experience, and includes a performance with the instructors at Arcade Comedy Theater that evening.

Do you find that your scenes get stuck like a corolla with no snow chains in a blizzard? Are you constantly breaking improv dishes on stage by accidentally dropping them? Are you starting to suspect that it's not just your astrological signs that are keeping your relationships from progressing in a scene? Well, have we got the Master Class for you.

Join us for an improv intensive that will leave you excited to dive more deeply and confidently into your improv performances. In this workshop, we will work together in a brave and supportive space to create dynamic relationships, polish object work, and explore methods of pushing scenes forward. The intensive will culminate with a performance that evening at Arcade Comedy Theater.

Saturday, September 23

Workshop: 2–5PM
Performance: 9PM, call time 8:30PM
Suggested Price $40 (Pay As You Wish option made possible by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council for the Arts)
