Workshop: Ritual of Tea and Natural Dye

Step in from the cold and join FWM staff and Taahirah and Nakia Stith of Dope Botanicals around a table within Rose B. Simpson’s Dream House to learn about tea preparation and plant based alchemical remedies. After enjoying a custom tea blend inspired by the winter season and Dream House, head to our print studio to create your own set of tea-dyed napkins, screenprinted with natural mordants!

Sisters Nakia and Taahirah Stith have been ‘plant based’ before it was popular. Born into a family with core values of respect for self and community, health and wellness were extremely important tenants in their upbringing. The sisters have over 30 years of experience utilizing food as medicine. After years of being asked to bring their remedies to the public, the Herbalist + Certified Integrated Health Practitioner sisters created Dope Botanicals.
