Dare to bare? If you always play with a false sense of emotional commitment, experience the liberating
sensation when emotions launch your creativity to new levels in your scene work. Re-align your ability
to give and receive authentically with your partner. This workshop will focus on connecting your
emotions with a scene partner safely, while serving your objectives in the scene. Keep your underwear
on at all times.

Your Instructor: Marlene Marcos
Marlene Marcos is a performer, facilitator, educator and coach. She earned her B.F.A. in
Theatre from Florida International University and is a National Society of Arts & Letters Acting
Award Recipient. She has appeared in many plays, national commercials, voice-overs, film and
tv, both in English and in Spanish. As an instructor, she has taught at the New York Film
Academy- Miami, Florida Film Institute, New World School of the Arts, Actor’s Playhouse at the
Miracle Theatre and Just The Funny Improv Theatre in Miami, FL, which she co-owned for over
ten years and served as a VP of Education. She has travelled the country performing improv
at various festivals and theaters, including Spontaneous Combustion and Dad's Garage
(Atlanta), Dallas Comedy Festival, The Nestival (Columbus, OH), Curious Comedy Theater
(Portland, OR), Sarasota Improv Festival, and the Miami Improv Festival, of which she was a
producer. Marlene enjoys traveling while leading workshops in English and Spanish in all areas
of acting, improv, creativity, connection and confidence. She is easily bribed by coffee and
dogs.
