Topic: From Boosting Posts to TikTok Trends: 7 Things to Know About Social Media in 2022 and Beyond:What I've learned working in social media in the last 10 years, and what I expect is coming in the next 10 years.
About Emily: Emily Catalano is the founder of Highly Social Media, a digital marketing and social media consulting agency that works with businesses and influencers to create content plans and strategies for connecting authentically with their audiences, and building partnerships with brands and collaborators. After a career in newspaper and television reporting that took her from Philadelphia to North Dakota, Emily settled back on the East Coast and now works with clients around the country. Emily also runs Good Food Pittsburgh, a news site devoted to all of the good food that her hometown has to offer.
Who should go to this event? Women interested in business development, entrepreneurship and networking. Corporations, small businesses and nonprofits are all well-represented, which creates a warm and inviting place to meet new people. Many long-term business relationships have been formed in the 10-year history of these events.
The reception is catered with a generous assortment of appetizers. The bar will serve compliementary wine, beer and soft drinks.
COVID-19 Safety
To ensure public safety, event policies and pandemic related restrictions are subject to change. We will continue to monitor local transmission rates and take the recommendations of the CDC, County and State Health Departments into consideration.
If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home.
When possible we encourage all attendees to practice social distancing during the event.
Mask Mandate
Per CDC and PA Department of Health Guidelines:
- Masks are optional for individuals who are fully vaccinated from COVID-19.
- Masks are required for individuals who are not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated from COVID-19.
Navigating Nova Place
The address of Nova Place is 100 South Commons, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. It’s important to note that current a portion of Federal Street is closed due to construction. The area is located at the intersection of Federal St. and South Commons. If arriving at Nova Place from the South or downtown Pittsburgh, guests can use Sandusky St. to enter onto East Commons.
Guests will have the option to park in the Nova Place Garage by entering Gate #4 labeled Visitor Entrance, located along South Commons. Parking is a flat $5 rate after 4pm.
Once inside the garage, look for the Central Concourse Elevators and go to the Plaza Level. You will then enter the Concourse and head towards the right. Look for the "Alloy 26" sign above the door.
Upon exiting, pay stations are located on Orange Level 2 (same level as entering Gate #4) directly in front of the Central Concourse Elevators.
