Sadly, the film world lost a great actor earlier this month when Bruno Ganz passed away. Chiefly known these days for playing Hitler in the much-memed film Downfall, some of Ganz’s best work was with Wim Wenders. Here, in one of their masterpieces, Ganz plays an angel in Berlin who chooses to become mortal so that he can be with the woman he has fallen in love with.
