Event Description
Whiskey Wednesday Tastings

Join us at 6pm on select Wednesdays for exclusive whiskey tastings! Each event features a different family of bourbons or other whiskeys, often with special guests or brand ambassadors from the distillery. Only 15 spots are available, so don't wait to lock in your whiskey experience at Prairie.

Tasting admission includes 3-4 half-ounce neat pours of the featured whiskeys, education and tasting notes (mash bill makeup, whiskey history, distillery information & history), plus a light refreshment from the kitchen. Class duration is approximately 30 min.

***UPCOMING DATES***

APRIL 27 - It's a Kentucky vs. Tennessee showdown! This week we'll taste Kentucky's Bulleit rye and Bulleit 10yr bourbon, and then compare them to Tennessee's own George Dickel rye and 12yr bourbon. We are also super-excited to host Rachel Ewing, master of whiskey from Diageo, as well as brand representative John Ajay from Southern Wine & Spirits. $10 admission.

MAY 4 - This week we turn to one of the big boys: Buffalo Trace. Chandler Carranza from Sazerac spirits is our special guest joining to talk about BTD and pour some of the distillery's most popular whiskeys: Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Blanton's, and EH Taylor. Just $10 admission!

MAY 25 - It's time for Jack Daniels to shine. Everyone knows the black label, Old No. 7. But today we'll be comparing it to the specialty line, including Gentleman Jack and the Single Barrel variety. And maybe the Honey or Fire flavored whiskeys just for fun, too. Just $10 admission!
