Calling all K-12 educators and administrators! Join us (in
person!) so we may celebrate your incredible resiliency
and share the latest and greatest we have to offer you and
your students. Learn more about upcoming exhibitions,
field trip and outreach opportunities, and more. Take a
tour of the Museum’s newest exhibition Simple Pleasures:
The Art of Doris Lee. Three Act 48 Hours will be given
for participation. Teacher programs supported in part
by contributions from businesses eligible for tax credits
through the PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit
(EITC) program.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATES
Proof of Vaccination or Negative COVID-19 Test Requirement

The safety of our staff and community is paramount. Therefore for this event, where masking is not possible for the duration due to food and drink components, all guests ages 12 and older will need to be fully vaccinated with the Moderna, Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson vaccine and must show proof of vaccination at the time of entry into the Museum for the event.

“Fully vaccinated” means that on the date of the event:

• it is at least 14 days after the second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or


• it is at least 14 days after the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Proof of vaccination must come directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination. Guests may display proof on a smartphone or present a physical copy. Use of a Digital Vaccination Passport App is also acceptable.

For guests who are unable to be vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event start time must be provided. Please note that the Museum will not accept results from self-administered home tests.

Additionally, masks/face coverings are strongly recommended to be worn by all, regardless of vaccination status, at this event (as well as at all other indoor events at the Museum) and should be worn upon entering the Museum and whenever possible except for times when food and drink is being consumed.

All staff who are working the event, both Museum staff and outside contractors, will be wearing masks for the duration of the event.

Although we have taken enhanced health and safety measures, attending a large, indoor event will increase the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases regardless of vaccination status. The Westmoreland Museum of American Art cannot guarantee that event attendees will not become infected with COVID-19 and/or spreading COVID-19. By attending this event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
