Weekend Admission - 2018

Experience what’s happening on the farm, meet our farmers and greet the season!

On a Saturday or Sunday visit to Stone Barns from April through November, participate in a variety of seasonal, hands-on activities and drop-in tours, all included with your one-day admission ticket. From 10am-5pm, visitors are invited to self guide and explore the farm at their own pace. Activities are led by educators occur throughout the day. Here is a sample of what a weekend day might look like.

Making the Round: Growing Space Tour (Greenhouse): 10:30 – 11:30 am
Make: Felted Bracelets: 10:30 - 10:50 am
Farm Activity: Carrot Taste & Evaluation: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Foraging Walk or Full Farm Adult Walking Tour: 11:45 am – 12:45 pm
Hands-on Taste: Seasonal Salsa: 12:30 – 1:15 pm
Meet the Bees: 12:45 – 1:30 pm
Dig Deep with a Farmer: Building Soil for Health: 1:30 – 1:45
Making the Rounds: Growing Space Tour (Greenhouse): 2:00 pm (20 minutes)
Dig Deep with a Farmer: Let’s Talk Winter Squash!: 2:30 – 2:45 pm
Meet the Compost: Adult Walking Tour: 3:00 – 3:30 pm
Meet the Bees: 3:45 – 4:15 pm
Making the Rounds: Growing Space Tour (Field): 4:00 pm (20 minutes)

This is a sample schedule; a full schedule of the day's programs will be available to you upon entering the farm the day of your visit.

Weekend tickets sell out. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Tickets become available for purchase 4 weeks in advance. Online ticket sales end at 11:30 am on the day of admission.

Important Information for Visitors

Come ready for a day outdoors
Please come appropriately dressed for the weather and for an active day on the farm. This means closed-toed shoes, water and adequate sun protection. Even when hot out, lightweight pants are more suitable than shorts. Reusable water bottles can be filled up in the Silo Lobby.

Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the farm's growing spaces; you may not have a dog with you if you plan on participating in programming.

Weather
All programming at the Center is rain or shine except during thunder, lightning and blizzards. To find out if a program has been cancelled due to inclement weather, please call 914 366 6200.

Cancellation policy
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all tickets. For a refund, please contact us 48 hours prior to your visit at 914 366 6200 x131.

Group Tours
