Water Can't Wait Fundraiser

Join West Virginia gubernatorial candidate, Stephen Smith, and other concerned human beings and living creatures advocating for safe drinking water in Mountain State for a fun fundraiser at our favorite local progressive bar. Wild and Wonderful West Virginia has been under siege for decades by corporate polluters who have put their profits ahead of the well-being of the people of the state. Their greed has left many in the state, adults and children alike, without safe water to support the very basic needs of drinking, cooking, bathing, and overall enjoyment. Morgantown Working Families and other local groups, in partnership with WV Water Can’t Wait will host a water themed fundraiser at 123 Pleasant Street to support Stephen's campaign to launch a progressive movement on water and other issues. LJ at 123 Pleasant Street will be cooking up a delicious "sludge water" in honor of the event and we will include a raffle to benefit Stephen's campaign. Come join us to send a strong message: We can’t wait for safe drinking water!!
