Saturday 6pm - LIVE Jack Gerbes, Director of the Maryland Film Office


Sunday 6pm LIVE Filmmaker Talkback with Director Matt Myslinksi and Actor Vince Eisenson!



As part of our FREE ONLINE Virtual Film Festival Retrospective, we are excited to bring you TWO LIVE and INTERACTIVE virtual Filmmaker talk back sessions.  LIMITED TO 40 Guests.


On Saturday April 4th at 6pm our speaker will be Jack Gerbes of the Maryland Film Office to talk about the state of the Film Industry and this new Virtual reality.


On Sunday, April 5th Our speakers will be Director Matt Myslinski (Four Corners) with Leading Man and fellow Director Vince Eisenson (Four Corners, Hot Questions).  Matt and Vince will share "behind the scenes" conversations, plus their insights on process plus take questions from our Virtual audience. 


We will employ a simple, FREE, and easy to use online platform where you can log in on camera from mobile device or computer, or just call in to the events. 


These conversations are added special event. Upon registration, you will receive a private link and secret password which will give you access to join both sessions. Meet Jack Gerbes and hopefully you can watch Matt & Vince's films before joining! We will even send you a reminder!

Guest Speakers Bios



Jack Gerbes joined the Maryland Film Office in 1992, and was named Director of the Film Office in 2002. During his tenure, Jack has worked on over 125 feature films and television series. His credits include: “Ladder 49”, “Enemy of the State”, “Runaway Bride”, “Wedding Crashers”, “ 12 Monkeys” and the HBO series “The Wire”. He is on the advisory board of the Maryland Film Festival and Women in Film and Video of Maryland. Jack has represented Maryland at the Sundance Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, London Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival and American Film Institute Festival. In 2006 he served on the jury of the Kratkofil Film Festival in Bosnia. Jack has received the Guardian Angel from Women in Film and Video and was named a Baltimorean of the Year by Baltimore Magazine in 2004.


MATT MYSLINSKI



Matthew Myslinski is an independent film director whose work has screened at festivals and venues worldwide, including the Festival de Cannes and Universal Studios. Along with writing and directing his own projects, he actively participates as crew on feature films and television series such as: 'Wonder Woman 1984,' 'Hillbilly Elegy,' 'WandaVision,' and 'Lovecraft Country,' and with noteworthy organizations like: 'National Geographic,' 'The Smithsonian Institute,' 'Elle Magazine,' and 'Legg Mason.' A graduate of the University of Maryland, Matthew is now based in Atlanta, Georgia."


VINCE EISENSON



Vince is an actor based outside D.C.  He has worked extensively at theaters throughout the region, and is a company member of Chesapeake Shakespeare in Baltimore.  His television credits include Turn: Washington's Spies, Hunters, American Genius, Homicide Hunter, True Terror w/ Robert EnglundAmerican Titans, and the upcoming Showtime series, The Good Lord Bird.  Vince has acted in several short films; among them are Hot Questions (Columbia Film Fest), and Four Corners, for which he won "Best Actor in a Short Film" at last year's Nova Film Fest.  He also recently directed and produced a short called Gift, which is in post production.
