The Elizabethan Gardens is pleased to host “Virginia Dare Night” for Dare County, Currituck County, and Ocracoke Island residents on Sunday, November 27, 2022. “Virginia Dare Night” will support the Roanoke Island Food Pantry. All locals are invited to attend the 13th season of WinterLights for donations of non-perishable food items to a local food pantry on this night. This is an opportunity to attend WinterLights while aiding local families in need.
The doors open at 6:00 PM and guests must reserve tickets online, and in addition to the food or dry goods donations, residents are required to show proof of Dare County, Currituck County or Ocracoke Island residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill. Pre-opening donation collection begins at 5:00 PM. Recommended items for the food drive include canned vegetables, fruits, meats, soups and beans; tomato and pasta products; cereals; toilet paper and paper towels. There are no rain checks with these free tickets.
We ask that you leave your pets at home for this night, please!
