Velvet Smooth is the 1976 American blaxploitation film about a crime lord who hires a female private detective to find out who's stealing his business. It is a definitely underrated film shot on location in New York City. Some decent martial arts sequences plus a heroine who doesn’t need certain assets to get the job done makes this an interesting watch for fans of cult films.
