Matthew's background in chemistry supported his unique understanding of wine.

However, it wasn't until spending time working at wineries in Napa that he was inspired to become a wine educator.

In 2019 he launched his YouTube channel as The Wine Chemist. A native of Massachusetts, Matt is the founder and director of the Provincetown Food & Wine Festival kicking off its inaugural events this November.
