Kate McIntosh: Worktable

Location: Buddy’s Place, 1300 Vine St

Hours: Wed - Sun, 3:00 - 7:45pm

Duration varies: 30 minute time limit

The first half of each hour is designated for prepaid appointments. The second half of each hour is designated as walk-in spots for the community at a "pay what you can" or "suggested" donation in order to increase community participation and inclusion.

Please arrive 5 minutes in advance to secure your place for the performance.

Worktable is an installation with various rooms that you explore one by one. Once inside, you are given instructions, equipment, safety goggles, and materials that you can use. It's up to you to decide how items come apart and get reimagined. Kate McIntosh gives you the tools to destroy and rebuild: you take it from there.

The work of Kate McIntosh (first experienced at the CAC in 2018 with In Many Hands) transcends the boundaries of performance, theatre, and installation. Her productions regularly bridge the distance between the performers and the audience, as well as her preference for theatrical imagery.
