Holiday Trot 5k Run & 2k Walk

Welcome to The Barn III’s FIRST 5K run and 2K walk in Goodfield!  We are thrilled to kick off the holiday season in style as we RACE with all the JOY we can muster on Saturday, November 12, 2022. This themed “Holiday Trot” will correspond with our Annual Holiday Sip N Shop Event as well as the launch of our Musical Christmas Light Show.  Thank you for being a part of the fun and magic of Christmas in Goodfield!  

Here’s the race details you need to know: 

• Registration for the race will be available NOW until November 6th. 


• Registration is $35/person and includes a race t-shirt, free drink, raffle prizes and a photo with Santa at the finish line! 


• The 5K race begins promptly at 4pm (maybe even a little earlier if we have everyone ready! (Dusk begins at 5:19pm - we don’t want you running in the dark if we can help it!) 


• The 2K race will begin immediately after the runners depart. 


• The winner of the 5K race will officially launch the light show!  It will be your guide in the sky to the finish line! 


• Pre-registration for your t-shirt and swag will be available in The Barn III lobby on Friday from 10am - 6pm. You can also plan to pick up the items before the race from 2-3:45pm. 


• All runners must be checked in by 3:45 to run/walk. 


• Parking for the race WILL NOT BE LOCATED in The Barn III’s parking lot.  All race participants are asked to park in the field located next to The Stable - the first building you see when you approach The Barn III property.  Signage will be posted and parking elves will be available to direct you! 


• Prizes will be awarded for runner categories as well as the following THEME AWARDS: 




• Most Christmas Spirit


• Jolliest Jogger Award


• Bad Sweater/Socks Award


• Pine Tree Trotter Award


• Grinch Award 

By registering for the race, you agree to the following terms/conditions: 

By purchasing a ticket and participating in an event at The Barn III, you assume responsibility for your own health and safety as it relates to your presence in a public space. The Barn III is not liable for bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment or property damage that may arise from services received from The Barn III, LLC or its employees. 

Furthermore, the undersigned participant (and my parent or guardian if I am younger than 18 years of age), intending to be legally bound, do hereby forever release and waive any and all rights, claims, and actions for damages that we, our heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns may have, or that may hereafter accrue against any and all persons, organizations, charities, and other entities associated with the event, supporting sponsors and their respective employees and agents, and any other individuals who are in any way connected with this event or future events (including volunteers assisting with the event) including, but not limited to Perfect Pace Race Management LLC, The Barn III Dinner Theatre and Event Center, sponsors, affiliates, volunteers, and individual organizers, arising out of or in connection with my involvement before, during, or after the event.

I verify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this event and I assume the risks involved in this activity. I further attest that I will be mindful of traffic along the race course, and hold said sponsors and organizers blameless in any harm that may happen.

I consent to the collection and use of my personal contact Information and grant permission for the free use of my name and/or pictures in telecasts, broadcasts, newspapers, posters, advertising, etc.
