NXNE 2019 Curator: Trifecta VS Serious Betty

Combining NXNE’s recently introduced eSports competition, Game Land, with the festival’s signature curator Club Land series, Trifecta Sound Co. and Serious Betty host the first ever Battle Showcase. Held at The Drake Underground, artists and DJs from Trifecta’s unstoppable music collective will battle round-for-round against a Toronto-based supergroup made up of rising talent and fan favourites.

Come by for a battle like no other - audience members and celebrity industry judges will vote on which team brings the hottest hooks and baddest beats.

This will be one hell of a hype night, filled with giveaways, on-site gaming stations, and fire flows.

Trifecta Sound Co.

Trifecta Sound Co. is a Canadian-based music company and artist collective. Originating from Trifecta Music Festival, Saskatchewan’s first free, multi-genre arts & culture festival, Trifecta Sound Co. strives to promote diversity in the arts, with an emphasis on empowering artists of colour, and aims to establish the new sound of the prairies.

Artists from Trifecta’s collective, namely Samurai Champs, LOA, and Tefrondon, have achieved international successes, touring the UK, US, and Europe, as well as performing in festivals such as SXSW, NXNE, Canadian Music Week, & FOCUS Wales.
