Throttle Time will let you live out your dream as the engineer of historic steam locomotive no. 765 at our restoration facility during the 2021 Railroad Open House on August 20th, 22nd, and 21st.

Each session includes 30-minutes of locomotive operation on several hundred feet of our facility trackage under the supervision of our crew. Pull back on the throttle, whistle off, and learn what moving 400-tons of time machine really feels like.

All participants must be 16-years-old or older with a valid driver's license and be in good health. No cell phones or guests will be permitted in the cab. Friends and family are welcome to watch from the ground.
