“It's 1985, and rock star wannabe, Robbie Hart, is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.” - from Music Theatre International

“The Wedding Singer is one of those movies that has reached a status in pop culture that it seems everyone has either seen it, or is at least aware of it,” says Director Ryan Dunn. “Bringing that experience to the stage has been incredibly fun and exciting, as the show is very funny but also has a lot of heart. Because Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore’s performances are so iconic, one of the aspects of the show I’ve most enjoyed is helping the actors take the best parts of those performances while simultaneously injecting their own spin on the characters. I am so excited to show audiences our version of this classic story”
