The Seagull by Anton Chekhov

Chekhov’s masterpiece, wherein art and love, life and death, find an intersection on the grounds of a beautiful estate in the Russian countryside. A co-production of Red Monkey Theater Group and M&M Performing Arts Company The Seagull will be performed in repertory with Blithe Spirit, a much-loved classic comedy, in the Grand Picture Gallery of Lyndhurst Mansion. Guests must be able to climb the main staircase to reach the second-floor level as there is no elevator. 

Tickets are $40 for Adults, $35 for Seniors/Students (16 and under – appropriate for kids 13 years and up). No member discounts are offered for theater performances.

Plan Your Visit:

• Accessibility: Guests must be able to climb the main staircase to reach the second-floor level as there is no elevator.


• Please arrive at the Welcome Center no more than 40 minutes before the entry time printed on your ticket.


• Photography and video are not allowed inside the mansion for this performance.


• No food, drink, large bags or backpacks will be permitted in the mansion.


• Please wear shoes appropriate for walking on the grounds at Lyndhurst.

Extreme Weather Policy: Welcome Center staff will do their best to give notice if performances are interrupted, delayed, or canceled due to extreme weather. If Lyndhurst cancels your performance for weather-related issues, we will endeavor to reschedule. If rescheduling a performance canceled by Lyndhurst is not possible, we will offer visitors a refund for their tickets.
