Ready for the stage in 2022, RCL Entertainment of Pittsburgh, PA will present “The Making of Burlesque” featuring the Express Girls with their World Premiere at the Enclave Theater in Pittsburgh’s iconic Southside.

RCL Entertainment is proud to bring “The Making of Burlesque” to Pittsburgh for the first time! “The
Making of Burlesque” is a 2-hour Burlesque Production targeting audiences 21+ of Pittsburgh’s
arts/cultural and nightlife scene.

The show tells a story of an aspiring dancer named Kitty. Kitty is exhausted from years of being the “show kitten” and cleaning the stage after the gorgeous and talented cast of 6 Burlesque Dancers. The dancers barely even pay any attention to her night after night. Kitty is
only seen by them as plain, quirky and they constantly demand everything from her. The troupe leader, Roxy has a soft spot for Kitty and one night accidentally discovers something about her that no one else has seen before. Is Roxy on to something? Or is Kitty always going to be sweeping the stage and dreaming of a glamorous life that she will never have? The Express Girls are a troupe of professional dancers that focus on the modern style of burlesque intertwined with the technical, theatrical styles of dance being taught today. As they bring to life their very own tantalizing burlesque characters, each show takes you on a journey that is empowering, sexy,
and inspiring.

This Pittsburgh Production is proud to say that it includes many of our very own Pittsburgh natives
including a local costume designer, Point Park University dance graduates, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater
trained dancers, and RCL Entertainment is owned by two Point Park Alumni, Reid and Susie Gustin.
