The Howlin Brothers & The Gruesomes

The howlin brothers are an American string band performing blues, country blues, and oletime bluegrass music. Born from the Ithaca music scene and trained by years of US and European touring the band has a unique sound found thru years of making music together. Going on 20 years as a band. Howlin brothers are live band come here and feel the sounds that are conjured up by Jared Green, Ben Plasse, and Ian Craft.

 

 

The Gruesomes hail from Carbondale, IL. The band features two vocalists, acoustic guitar, upright bass and soprano saxophone. Influenced by the Jugband music of the 1920's and beyond, The Gruesomes play songs from all eras in an old time music style.
