The Founders Tour

An extended three-hour long guided tour of the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum designed to highlight the life and legacy of our Founder, Mr. Jerry Jacobson. Visit the collection of steam locomotives, restoration shop, turntable, machine shop, and store house Mr. Jacobson built, hear how it was done, and how we preserve his legacy today.

• Due to the nature of the site, visitors are restricted to the guided tour itself.


• Group size is limited.


• All tickets are sold in advance. No tickets may be purchased at the door.


• We recommend the wearing of comfortable, closed toe, footwear.


• Limited strollers and wheelchairs are available.


• Roundhouse waiver must be signed by all participants.
