The Man in the Chair, a huge fan of frivolously inconsequential stage musicals of the Jazz Age, gives his favorite cast recording a spin. And as he offers commentary – two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided lothario, and an intoxicated chaperone take over his metropolitan sanctuary. Oh, what stupid bliss!
