That Was Awesome

An MJCCA screening, presented by Spotlight Theatre and Dad’s Garage

​Please join us in the MJCCA's Morris & Rae Frank Theatre for the MJCCA Red Carpet Premier of "That Was Awesome," a short film produced in cooperation with Dad’s Garage, as shown in the 2018 Atlanta Film Festival. In addition to the movie screening, guests will enjoy a red carpet entrance and photo booth, director commentary, actor discussion panel, and dessert reception.

About the film:

Spotlight actors were selected by Dad’s Garage, an Atlanta-based improvisational theater company, to partner together on a short film production.  Their debut short film, “That Was Awesome,” was presented in 2018 at the Atlanta Film Festival. 

About Spotlight Theatre:

Spotlight is an audition-based theater program for actors with special needs.  Participants train together taking part in weekly master classes with professionals in the field.   Spotlight focuses on film, educating our actors in the craft.
