ABOUT THE SHOW

It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Prohibition Theatre and the world famous Moonlight Dolls are thrilled to present their holiday show Tales of a Hard Nut, a burlesque-inspired adaptation of the timeless classic The Nutcracker.

Through veils of glistening snowflakes and song, the Snow Queen guides Clara through the Land of the Sweets, discovering the original and far naughtier Nutcracker Land that the world-weary Rat King originally intended.

Do the flowers waltz? Oh yes. Does the Sugarplum Fairy fly? Sure. Do burlesque ballerinas keep their tutus on? Join the Moonlight Dolls for a cup of holiday cheer and find out!

GENERAL ADMISSION PRICING:

Front Row Seating $75

• For small groups of 4 or less.


• Only 4 tables available.

Standard Theatre Seating $45

• For small groups of 8 or less.  


• Good views of the stage.

Side View Seating $30

• For small groups of 4 or less.


• Obstructed or less than ideal view of the stage; however acts are performed all over the theatre.

VIP PRICING:

Mezzanine Seating $50

• For large groups of 6 or more.  


• Packaged tickets (These tables can only be reserved by purchasing all seats in each section).


• Good views overlooking the whole theatre.

There is a $45 per person three course prix-fixe meal required to attend this event, payable at the end of the show.

• Group discounts only available for select dates.


• Do not submit more than one request for the same party.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Prohibition House Rules

• All Sales Final. There are no refunds, reschedules, or moves.  As most shows are sold out, we won’t be able to swap your seats.


• $45 Prix-fixe dinner is required, payable at the end of the show. Drinks and gratuity are not included. Dinner reservations in the Prohibition restaurant do not apply towards your minimum in the theatre.


• Dress code is semi-formal/formal and is strictly enforced. Guests arriving in jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, tennis shoes, shorts, athletic wear, work boots, baseball caps or excessively baggy clothing will be refused entry to the Theatre. Dress shorts are permitted. Themed attire in keeping with the show is encouraged.


• Arrive 30 minutes - 1 hour early. This way you have plenty of time to enjoy your dinner and watch the show. Please give us a call if you’re running late. 20 minutes after showtime, your ticket is eligible for resale if you have not arrived and we have not received a phone call.


• Print your tickets or have them ready to present on your phone. No entry without tickets. Check-in will be at the box office located directly to the right of Prohibition. You will be escorted to the theatre when your table is ready.


• Tables cannot be pushed together. Space is limited, so be mindful of your neighbors.


• Photography is not permitted in the theatre.


• Birthday cakes, balloons and glitter are not allowed.

Keep these things in mind for a great experience 

• Valet park! We have a valet service at the corner of Prairie and Main from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.


• If you didn’t invite friends to your table, be ready to meet some great new people!


• Ask your server for alternative dinner options if you have any specific food allergies.
