TABLE's 8th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser TO GO

Help TABLE feed the children in our community!

Due to COVID-19, TABLE has reorganized our Empty Bowls fundraiser to honor the need to keep everyone safe with a contact-free experience while still offering you a delicious meal prepared by some of our community’s award winning chefs! Thanks to the generosity of our supportive chefs, we are able to offer you several amazing meal options including vegetarian and gluten free choices. In addition, our potter community has come together, once again, and donated beautiful, handcrafted bowls to raise needed funds.

We have created two levels of meal packages for two and four people. Our base meal packages include your choice of soup paired with salad and bread. If you choose a base meal package, you have the option to add bowls at an additional cost. With the add-on(s), TABLE staff will select the bowl(s) for you this year.

Our Donor Hero packages include your choice of soup paired with salad, bread, and Magnetic Sour Cream Marvel Cake (does include walnuts) by Chapel Hill favorites Bill Smith and Nancie McDermott.  Donor Hero packages also include bowls for two or four people and offer the added benefit of selecting your bowls online. 

We are so grateful to the chefs, potters, and sponsors who are enabling us to continue the Empty Bowls tradition. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to supporting TABLE’s Weekend Meal Backpack program. We hope you will be able to participate!

• You will need to respond to the email we send to specify the added information we will need to ensure we reserve the desired bowls and take them out of inventory. 


• Please do not call the office to request your choices before we reach out to you via email. We will be reaching out in the sequence finalized paid orders come into our ticketing system.

Bowls will go online starting Monday, October 12th and selection will stop on Friday, October 23rd to allow TABLE staff time to package each bowl. If you order the Donor Hero package before October 12, please note that we will reach out to each person in the sequence the orders come in. Once chosen, the specific bowls will be tagged and set aside. The reserved pieces will be carefully packed and included with your meal at pick-up. 

All purchased meals will be available for pick up at Market & Moss, located in Southern Village at 700 Market Street, Chapel Hill, between the hours of 4:00 - 7:30pm on Sunday, October 25th, 2020. When you purchase your meal, you will be asked to select a 15 minute time window to pick up your order. Upon arriving at Market & Moss, one of our staff will be outside to greet you and ask for your name. We ask that you remain in your car, be wearing a mask (as all of our staff and volunteers will be as well), and wait for delivery to your car window.
