The Jazz-Age Retrospectacular ends it’s party season with a bang. This Sunday, June 4th from 7-11pm at the Bottle Cap Bar, Crooner Rock Solomon doubles down on his popular swing dance night by adding in a pop-up movie drive in theatre in the street, populated with real live classic cars from the key west car club. The event is the finalie costume party for the Retrospectaculr season & boasts a photo party with best-dressed contests, swing dance lessons, raffles, a dance off & Solomon’s live band; The Miami Jazz Ensemble with special guest singers. The drive-in movie will be 1941’s “Birth of the Blues” a film starring legendary talents of Bing Crosby, Duke Ellington, Louie Armstrong, Jack Teagarden, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and many other music greats from the era. Cash bar drink specials are available as well as hand-crafted “mocktails” for non-alcoholic refreshment. Event is All-Ages & Free to the public.
