Sustainable Pioneers Course

Climate change is a challenging topic to face. Yet, an inspiring and empowering reality is emerging. In this interactive class, you'll learn about sustainability, energy, climate science, and climate solutions through presentations by Rachel Carson scholar Patricia DeMarco. Documentarian Kirsi Jansa will screen Sustainability Pioneers, short documentaries showcasing communities and states taking bold climate action.

This course will empower you to have constructive conversations about global warming and make changes for a better future. DeMarco and Jansa are both visiting researchers at the Institute for Green Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
