SUNSQUABI

Music brings us to our feet literally, figuratively, and spiritually. It inspires us to rise up to the trials and tribulations of our daily lives and, on a larger scale, to the challenges of the world. Through an unspoken sonic communion between three distinct musical identities, SunSquabi—Kevin Donohue [guitar, keys, production], Josh Fairman [bass, synth], and Scotty Zwang [drums]—rouse us from inactivity and into action when we need the extra push through their signature live electronica sound. After racking up tens of millions of streams and delivering rapturous performances at legendary venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, they continue to incite personal revolutions louder than ever with their recent releases Cloudburst EP [2024] and Grind EP [2024].

“The past few years have shown us how resilient people can be,” observes Kevin. “Our music reflects that journey—overcoming obstacles and finding light through it all. These EPs are a testament to staying grounded, connected, and hopeful.”

SunSquabi has ignited the energy of listeners everywhere since 2015. They’ve unveiled a string of fan-favorite releases such as Odyssey [2016], Deluxe EP [2017], and Instinct [2019]. Praised by outlets like 303 Magazine, JamBase, and Live For Live Music, they’ve also earned acclaim from Westword, which proclaimed, “The record has electrifying moments,” and ThisSongIsSick, which raved, “SunSquabi never fails to bring the funk.” Along the way, they’ve sold out venues coast-to-coast, capturing one of their iconic Red Rocks gigs on SunSquabi (Live at Red Rocks). The trio has collaborated with String Cheese Incident, Late Night Radio, Lettuce, and GRiZ, among others.

Much of their newest music has emerged from the synergy of marathon jam sessions, the energy of live gigs, and their ever-evolving creative chemistry. During the pandemic, SunSquabi deepened their bond as a band and stayed true to their core.

Josh reflects, “We’ve always stayed authentic to ourselves and the music we feel in our hearts. That’s what keeps us going and what our fans connect with.”

In 2025, SunSquabi’s mission remains clear: to uplift, inspire, and connect. As Kevin concludes, “If there’s one thing we hope to do, it’s to lift people’s spirits and remind them there’s always a way to rise up.”

MANIC FOCUS

Manic Focus is the electronic music project of John “JmaC” McCarten, a Denver-based producer with roots in funk, soul, and new-era hip-hop. A multi-dimensional artist with a rowdy style that spans multiple genres, Manic Focus transcends sound waves by fusing soulful blues with heavy-hitting bass, creating a resonating tone that’s entirely his own.
Originally hailing from the Twin Cities, McCarten grew up with classical piano lessons from an early age, developing a trained musical ear and laying the groundwork for his future in beat production. Over the last 6 years, McCarten has released six full-length albums, each one a new evolution in sound and approach. The producer continues to push himself to new musical limits by incorporating original, sample-free recordings, which is especially apparent in the material from his latest album, Lost in a Digital World, released in September 2019.
Recent live highlights include performances at Lollapalooza, High Sierra Music Festival, Camp Bisco, and Summer Camp Music Festival in 2019. Previous performances of note include Electric Forest, Suwannee Hulaween, The Gorge Amphitheater in WA and Red Rocks Amphitheater in CO supporting Pretty Lights.
