BCP Summer Sing 2022 Registration

Join us for the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh's Summer Sing Program the last two Tuesdays in June, 7:00-10:00 p.m., at Rodef Shalom on Fifth Avenue for a low commitment—high enjoyment choral experience Summer Sing is a wild experience—a cross between an open rehearsal of a choral masterwork and a reading session with singers of all levels of training and experience. NO AUDITION NECESSARY!

This year, we'll be exploring Carl Orff's “Carmina Burana,” sight reading and making what music we can within two Tuesday evening rehearsals (June 21 and June 28). The first rehearsal on June 21 will focus on Parts 1 and 2. The second rehearsal on June 28 will focus on Part 3 and the end of the work, concluding with a run-through of the full piece—sung in the round with the participants/ourselves as the only intended audience. It is always joyful but exhausting, magical and a little bit messy. Mostly, it’s just good choral fun!

Music scores will be provided. However, if you have your own, please bring it to save on resources.
