Sugar Mountain brings together an ensemble of veteran musicians from the New Jersey music scene who faithfully replicate the songs of one of our era’s most prolific and beloved singer/songwriters, Neil Young. For their return to Sportsmen's Tavern, Sugar Mountain presents two classic Neil Young albums-- Everybody Knows This is Nowhere on Saturday, and Harvest on Sunday. They will follow the complete performances of these classics with an inspired collection of the best songs that Neil Young’s incredible catalog has to offer.

Everybody Know This is Nowhere celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2019. The album was Neil’s first collaboration with Crazy Horse, and was recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the Greatest Albums of All Time; the album contains four songs that became standards in Young's performance repertoire: "Cinnamon Girl", "Down by the River", the title track, and "Cowgirl in the Sand". In a retrospective review, Greg Kot wrote in Rolling Stone called the record "raw, rushed, energized" and the band's interplay "at once primitive and abstract", a "gloriously spontaneous sound" that "would endure, not only as a blueprint for Young...but as an influence on countless bands." Sugar Mountain promises to bring that energy and spark to this rare live performance of the album.

Also recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the Greatest Albums of All Time, 1972’s Harvest infused country elements into another fantastic set of Neil Young compositions. “The Needle and the Damage Done”, “Alabama”, “Harvest”, “Are You Ready for the Country”, “A Man Needs a Maid”, “Old Man” and “Heart of Gold” helped make Harvest Neil’s first and only number one album. “Bringing these albums alive on stage” according to Sugar Mountain’s lead singer, Briz, “is a joy and a privilege”

Sugar Mountain brings to life the Neil Young concert experience, covering all of the best known songs, hits and deep cuts that are sure to thrill all, from the most ardent of fans to the casual Neil listener.

Neil Young’s career spans an amazing five plus decades, from the seminal country rock sounds of Buffalo Springfield and super group Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young to garage band Crazy Horse and countless genre bending solo releases, spanning everything from folk, country, electronic and hard rock to rockabilly.
