The Studebaker has a long and storied history as a leading American automobile manufacturer including a history in motorsports when they entered 5 cars in the Indianapolis 500 in 1932. The company opened in 1852 and closed over 50 years ago in 1966. For a more complete history and photos please visit Hemmings History of the Studebaker and the Studebaker National Museum.
Cost
The cost is the same as all other American cars - $35.00 to park your Studebaker in the weekend show, a PVGP Race Program and car decal. As the Spotlight car, owners have the option to take their cars on the track for a parade lap! For an additional $25.00 donation to our charities Studebaker owners can participate in the Opening Ceremonies on Sunday, July 16 at 11:00 am. You must be registered in the car show to be eligible to take the parade lap.
The Spotlight Car Honor is the PVGP's way of recognizing a particular car model, manufacturer or car club that contributes to our International Car Show at Schenley Park. The Spotlight is a Car Show designation that is a secondary to the Marque for cars that don't qualify as the marque because of quantity or manufacturer financial support.
