"My Straight Friends" is the uproarious LGBTQ stand up comedy/talk show hybrid where comedians Ricci Armani and Joe Dombrowksi take a deep dive into gay culture with their straight friends!

Recently named one of Variety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch, Detroit native Joe Dombrowski first caught the world’s attention in 2017 with a viral April Fools’ Day spelling test prank that led to multiple appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Don’t get it twisted, though—it takes 20 years to be an overnight sensation! Joe’s been performing stand-up since his third-grade talent show, and he hasn’t stopped since.
Today, Joe tours internationally with material that highlights his marriage, being a new dad, his accidentally hilarious parents and unforgettable years as an elementary school teacher. His comedy has been featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, the New York Comedy Festival, and Netflix Is a Joke Fest.
Joe is also the co-host of the hit live comedy/game show My Straight Friends, running monthly at The World Famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles and Emerald City Comedy Club in Seattle. Joe currently resides in Seattle, Washington where he hopes to run for Mayor sometime. And by Mayor he means PTA president.
Ricci Armani
Ricci Armani, is a stand up comedian, writer and the creator/cohost of the monthly sold out show “My Straight Friends” playing out of The Comedy Store in LA and Seattle. He has been featured in Forbes article “Top AAPI Comedians To Watch” and Business Insider to discuss why getting laid off was the best thing to happen to him. Ricci’s comedy performance is quick and witty. Covering topics from his extensive retail experience, life as a gay millennial, and stories from his past. Excellent crowd work comedian as well. He has featured in comedy festivals including Just For Laughs in Montreal, New York Comedy Festival, Portland’s RIP City Fest, and New Mexico’s Cloudtop Comedy Festival. He will also be participating in MoonTower 2026 in Austin Texas.

About The Belly Room
Hidden on our second floor, the Belly Room has been a testing ground for the best developing comedians over the last four decades. Not only have great comedy voices been discovered in this room but some of your favorite shows and podcasts got their start on this tiny but powerful stage. Built by Yakov Smirnoff and his father, the Belly Room is many comics' first home while they work their way up at The Store.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.
