Telling Your Story Class: Aleah Liebenau

TELLING YOUR STORY WITH ALEAH LIEBENAU


Have you ever wanted to try out storytelling? Have you struggled with finding the theme to your story? Over eight weeks, this class will introduce students to the basics of storytelling. You will learn: Vulnerability, structure, emotion, and humor. Each student will leave the workshop with a 5 minute personal story and the tools to start presenting, editing, and polishing their voice. 

 


This class will be offered:



  • Weekly on Tuesday, March 11 - April 22, 2025; 8 weeks. (7 classes and a Showcase on Friday, April 25) 7:00pm-9:30pm


 



 

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Aleah Liebenau has been a storyteller for 14 years. She studied creative writing at Southern Oregon University. She started dabbling in storytelling in 2011. Aleah quickly fell in love with the structure of storytelling. She started storytelling all over PNW. Aleah has performed on The Mystery Box, Mortified, The Risk Podcast, The Moth, 7 Deadly Sins and has her own storytelling show called Queer Goes Nothing. Aleah has also helped out newer storytellers in their journey of a successful story. She enjoys bringing emotion and humor to the stage.
