THE ARTS & AUTHORS DEPARTMENT OF THE MJCCA PRESENTS
STEVE MARSHALL COMEDY. DON'T BEHAVE; BE YOURSELF!
Last seen in 2025 in the Morris and Rae Frank Theatre at the MJCCA for a sold-out show with Comedy for Peace, audiences loved Steve so much, we brought him back for Round Two! Steve doesn't walk or even run into the crowd -- he EXPLODES, opting for no microphone, preferring the audience to the stage. Weaving with speed through the audience, at times taking to the top of chairs, Steve moves like a battlefield medic under fire healing people with laughter. A truly experienced funny man, quick-witted and animated, his goal is acceptance and happiness for all.
Steve's don't behave style relies on a sharp mind and complete inability to behave himself. What does that mean? Nothing too controversial, just a little good old-fashioned honesty, especially refreshing in today’s super sensitive politically correct climate.
EXPLOSIVE, FEARLESS, SPONTANEOUS AND MOST OF ALL, FUN.
Steve Marshall is a comedian, director, writer and actor. He has performed stand up on the NBC special "Dare To Dream" and was a featured guest comedian on "Hot Off The Grill" with Bobby Flay on the Food Network. He is a national headliner based in New York City. In addition to the Broadway and Greenwich Village Comedy Clubs, he can be seen at the Laugh Factory in Las Vegas and the Boca Black Box in Florida. His writing credits include daily monologue contributions to "The Late Show with David Letterman." He directed two Academy Award-winning actors, Mickey Rooney and Celeste Holm, in the movie, "Driving Me Crazy." Steve uses his humor to encourage everyone to be proud of who they are and to respect others that are different.
