IMPROV 201: Short Form

8 Classes in 4 Weeks
Tuesdays & Wednesdays 6:30pm – 9:30pm

This course takes place twice a week over four weeks. Building on previous concepts of scene work and game, Improv 201 focuses on short form improv. We’ll be delving into a variety of different performance games including: character-based games, option games, scenic games and storytelling games, concluding with the mechanics of putting the pieces together for a successful performance. Students will gain valuable experience in short form improv mechanics — a skill that the Arcade believes is a fundamental piece of a well-rounded improviser.

Prerequisite: Improv 101 & 102 

Arcade Comedy Theater classes are open to adults 18 yrs or older. This class is handicap accessible.

Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you sign up for a class and are unable to attend, please contact us in advance and we may be able to switch your enrollment to a different eligible class. Students looking to enroll in advanced classes (102 & higher) must be able to meet the prerequisites.
