TICKETS & PRICING:

Price shown includes 8% sales tax and processing fees.

Single Ticket:  $80 (admits 1 person). Each attendee with a single ticket will receive a souvenir wine glass at your starting winery, then at each winery visited, enjoy a sample of food with a wine intended to complement that dish best, then an additional 3 modest samples of wine.

Designated Driver Ticket:  $25 (admits 1 person tasting food, non-alcoholic beverage + a mini travel mug). Non-tasters/designated driver ticketholders receive a souvenir travel mug at their starting winery, and then will be offered a sample of food and non-alcoholic beverages at each winery along the way.

Weekend Packages:  Sip Back and Relax Tours has put together simple and convenient weekend packages for 2,4or6 people. They did all the planning so you can just go out and enjoy the weekend event! Packages include 2 night stay, 6 hours of transportation the Saturday of the event and tickets to the event.  CLICK HERE to learn more; please contact Sip Back & Relax Tours directly for reservations or with any questions.

Merchandise (Lanyards $6 and Fleece Blankets $20):  Lanyards provides the perfect hands-free solution for event-goers. Simply remove your glass from the holder while you’re tasting and return it to the holder while you’re shopping, walking around, and so on. You will have the option to add a wine glass lanyard in any quantity you choose when you click through to purchase tickets and it will be waiting for you at your starting winery.  Fleece Blankets make a great throw blanket for your vehicle or while sipping a glass of wine at home keeping you cozy warm.

Oftentimes our events sell out, so you should purchase your tickets well in advance of the event itself.  Advance ticket sales end by 6:00 A.m. EST the THURSDAY before the event weekend.  After that, for events that are not sold out, tickets will be available to purchase at a few designated wineries.

Please note: these events are for guests 21 and older and are not suitable for children. In addition, while our tasting rooms are typically pet-friendly, please leave your pets at home during event weekends.

GROUP SIZE MAXIMUM

The maximum group size for this event is 6 people. Do not purchase tickets or plan to travel in a group of more than 6 people. If you disregard this guideline, you will be turned away from wineries and have your ticket revoked.

CHOOSING A STARTING WINERY & GETTING YOUR TICKETS:

You will purchase tickets by selecting a starting winery. This is where you will begin the event and pick up your event tickets. After visiting your starting winery, you are free to visit remaining participating wineries in any order you choose.

As the purchaser, you will present your state-issued photo ID (driver’s license) to get your ticket. Only the purchaser (name on the order) can pick up the tickets. If there is a gift item for the event, you will pick that up as well.

Keep your cardstock ticket with you, as you will need to present at each participating winery. Printouts or screenshots of the confirmation email do not qualify as tickets. Tickets will list the participating wineries along with event parameters and a mini-map on the back.

Each starting winery is given a limited quantity of tickets. If you are planning to attend the event with friends or family (but remember, no groups of more than 6), it is important to purchase tickets at one time or on one order, to guarantee that all attendees will have the same starting winery. Please remember, bundles of tickets can only be picked up by the person who ordered them and orders cannot be split out after the sale.

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND OUR EVENTS ARE NOT CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER

Our event tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your entire order to someone else. A transfer means, that all tickets purchased on one order are transferred to another person (orders cannot be split). Then you are responsible for securing payment from that person. Tickets may only be resold at face value. For instructions on how to do this, please contact the Trail Office: 877-536-2717.

Our events are typically never canceled, this includes for weather unless the state closes the highways along the Wine Trail.

We encourage you to exercise the option to purchase ticket insurance and review the terms carefully. This is provided through a third party and will be an option as you proceed through the check out here on our website.

However, if we are required to cancel the event due to circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, tickets will be automatically refunded back to the original method of payment. In the event this happens, we will make the announcement on our website, our Facebook page, and via email to those who have purchased tickets through us. You will not need to contact us to receive a refund. Refunds may take extra time to process so please be patient. It may take up to 30 days to see the credit to your account. If you do not receive a refund within that timeframe, please contact us: 877-536-2717

YOU MUST BRING PROOF OF AGE

If you intend to taste wine, you must bring a valid form of government-issued photo ID, showing proof of age. Legally, each winery is responsible for checking identification, so it is possible and highly likely that you will be proofed at more than one winery and possibly more than once in the same tasting room (before tasting and again before buying, for example). Do not leave your ID in your hotel room or vehicle! If you cannot present valid proof of ID, you will be refused service. Our wineries check identification as a requirement of the law, not to offend or inconvenience you.

WINE TASTINGS

Each attendee with a wine tasting ticket will receive the wine and food pairing plus three additional wine samples at each event stop.  Please note that a person with two or more tickets, or a couple’s ticket as a single person *WILL NOT* be served additional samples. This promotes overconsumption, is not supported by the Trail Office, and does not follow event policy. Please drink plenty of non-alcoholic beverages between tastings to keep your palate fresh and stay hydrated. We want everyone to enjoy the weekend safely.

PLEASE ENJOY RESPONSIBLY

The Seneca Lake Wine Trail supports responsible enjoyment of our wonderful wineries. We recommend the use of designated drivers while exploring our Trail. Legally, wineries may not serve alcohol to a visibly intoxicated person, even if they have a designated driver. If you are visibly intoxicated (and this judgment is at the discretion of the winery staff), you will not be served.

OTHER TIPS

  • Dress in layers or bring a sweater/jacket. Some tastings may take place in barrel rooms or cooler areas of the wineries.

  • Snacks, bottled water, and other nonalcoholic beverages between stops can help you preserve your palate as well as keep you hydrated.

  • We will follow whatever COVID-related protocols are in place at the time of the event. Please maintain social distance, follow protocols, wash your hands frequently, and bring a mask with you, just in case it’s needed. We will update ticket holders of changes in event protocols via email, our website, and Facebook page, in that order.

  • Do not attend the event if you are not feeling well, are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or have knowingly been exposed to or suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19.
